This post is dedicated to the most recent comment by a person called himself/herself Truth and I hope everyone can read this. I have been expecting comments like this but it's a bit quick this time. Here's what he wrote:
"Not even a 4 plate deadlift (Yea, Mr Intermediate and advanced) and after reading online and taking everything off the internet you suddenly can be just as cool as all the experts out there and do daily rants (And not to mention how common it is to excessivley discussing and ranting about training nowdays). You sound real hardcore copying the style and writing from Jamie Lewis. You said you have trained for around a year and you are 160lbs, yea but you have ego the size of a 300lbs sumo.
How far have you gotten with your chosen sport? How many lifting comps? Everyone nowadays read a bunch of wendler, defranco, paul carter or whatever then lifted for a while and suddenly they are all training experts opening blogs and training people left and right, not just lifting expert but some how they know how to train everyone from every sport. Without even being trained properly by a coach or been around with proper powerlifters, top athletes (I am guessing the most big lifts you ever saw was from the internet.) ,without ever knowing the actual reason for the many articles that were written online. No better then the Personal Trainer in the commercial gym that you were always meant to "hate" because you are hardcore. Your experience clearly comes from the internet, even the format you type in is identical (And you can kid yourself however you want that it isnt.) How many emails have you sent off to your idols of the training world this month? Continue this way and one day you wake up and realize that at the core you know nothing.
I hope you put your head down and work as hard as your mouth for a few years before aggressivley seeking the ego massage you desire from being an "expert". This wasn't just aimed at you but all the guys that are so desperate to act like their favorite online trainer. I just randomly came across your blog."
First I want to thank Truth for spending his/her time to read and comment on my blog. I really appreciate that you actually gave a shit and wrote me a few lines.
Not sure if you are being sarcastic on calling me Mr Intermediate and advanced. I ranked myself between intermediate and advanced based on Martin Berkhan's strength level goals. Whatever you want to call me now doesn't really matter because I was just using myself as an example there. I have never written anything or told anyone I am so strong that you must listen and follow my advice. Obviously my numbers are embarrassing and no one is satisfied with them but is it necessary to be able to deadlift 5 plates and squat 4 plates to start a blog and share some of my knowledge and experiences? Is it necessary I need to be a training expert who has trained professional athletes or a powerlifting champion to open a blog to express my own training thoughts?
Let me tell you more about myself. (Read if you still give a shit) Gaining vertical has always been a task for me because like most of the kids who play basketball out there now, we want to dunk. However, due to lack of knowledge of training/diet and also too many temptations during puberty, I missed the best time to train my body properly and consistently. I used to think that jumping thousands of time a week or doing some stupid exercises could gain me a few inches or even a foot of vertical but I was wrong and obviously failed hard. Failure at young age didn't stop me and the passion always stays within me. Hundreds or even thousands of articles about training/diet have been read these few years and I apply the useful bits to myself all the time. Not sure when but weightlifting has become my favorite and my passion. Maybe it's the best way to release my stress. Although I always want to train everyday, it's hard to do it when you have a family and work 9-8 six days a week. It doesn't matter if you understand my circumstance, what I want to tell you is that my passion is greater than most people out there and I don't only do the talking, I get the work done too.
You are right. I have never trained by a coach and I don't have any proper powerlifter or top athlete training around me. But what makes you think that I don't understand the articles written by the training experts out there? Do you know me? Have we met before? Please do not make any assumption on people that you have not even seen. This sure makes you a retarded jerk.

I hate "most"(not all) of the "personal trainers" in Hong Kong. I don't see passion, I can only see money in most of their eyes. If you live in HK and has read the news about commercial gyms/personal trainers, you will know what I am talking about. It is not possible to compare myself to them. Some of them are bodybuilding champions in HK which are obviously great and it can't be more obvious that we aim for different things. Some don't even know what deadlift means and they call themselves "personal trainers" in HK. Nothing makes sense now and this is why I am mad. My message here is that I am 100% sure I have more training/diet knowledge than most of the personal trainers out there and I am free of charge.
My experience clearly comes from the internet and also hundreds hours of training plus self-experiments. I test things on myself and see what actually works and abandon those that are useless before asking questions online or email my "idol" of the training world. By the way, not a single email has been sent to my "idol" these years. You didn't know that, did you? (see picture above)
You suggested me to work as hard as my mouth for a few years before starting a blog to tell the world my thoughts. Why would I need to do that, why I need to wait a few years? The city is dying, you know? The city is lacking passion, you know? To become stronger/faster(high performance) is my passion and there really is nothing wrong to share my passion with other people. People have their rights to love or hate my material but they sure don't have the rights to tell me what to do. So if you really hate what I am doing here, please just leave my world and mind your own business. This wasn't just aimed at you but all the jerks that are so desperate to hate on other's hard work and attempt to ruin it. I just randomly typed these few lines.
p.s. Everyone should visit Jamie Lewis's blog, his writing style and manner and most importantly the materials he has covered there sure will keep you coming.
